Puppy foundations & life skills
Puppy Foundations
Give your puppy the calm, confident start they deserve!
Start strong from the very beginning! These sessions cover everything from toilet training and socialisation to building focus and confidence in new environments. You’ll learn how to create positive early experiences, introduce boundaries gently, and prevent common problem behaviours before they start. Together, we’ll set you and your puppy up for long-term success — building trust, understanding, and a bond based on calm communication from day one.
Ideal for puppies under 6 months.
Things I can help with that you might be struggling with:
Toilet training and crate training
Nipping and mouthing
Jumping up
Settling and calmness
Confidence around new people, dogs, and noises
Basic cues like sit, stay, come
Handling, grooming, and vet visits
Preventing problem behaviours before they start
Life Skills (Obedience)
Build everyday harmony through calm communication
Think of this as your dog’s life skills toolkit — the foundations for living calmly and confidently together. From loose lead walking to reliable recall and polite greetings, these sessions focus on real-life behaviours that make daily life easier and more enjoyable.
I don’t call it “obedience training” — because it’s not about control. It’s about teamwork, understanding, and clear communication between you and your dog.
Things I can help with if you’re looking to build a calmer, more responsive dog:
Reliable recall
Loose lead walking
Calm greetings and impulse control
Settling at home or in public
Focus and engagement around distractions
Confidence and resilience
Building a stronger bond and two-way communication
Adolescent Dogs
Guide your dog through their teenage stage with calm and confidence!
These sessions are designed to help you navigate that transition with understanding and patience. We’ll work on rebuilding focus, consistency, and calmness, even around distractions, while strengthening your communication and bond. You’ll learn how to set clear boundaries, reinforce positive habits, and support your dog as they test their independence — without frustration or conflict.
Things I can help with that often crop up during the teenage phase:
Selective hearing / ignoring recall
Pulling on the lead
Jumping up or overexcitement
Impulse control and frustration
Rebuilding focus around distractions
Boundary setting and consistency
Confidence dips or reactivity that appears “out of nowhere”
Once you’ve found the right type of session for you and your dog, you can choose a session package that suits your goals and how much support you’d like along the way.
If you’re unsure which option is the best fit, you can book a free 30-minute discovery call — it’s a friendly chat to talk through your goals, your dog’s needs, and how The Mojo Method can help.

“Kristina has a wonderful way with dogs and made the experience fun, resulting in a lovely collection of natural photographs. It was quite the task to choose our favourites! We are absolutely delighted with our wall art pieces and cannot recommend her highly enough.”
